Our Story
How Gear Bots began
Gear Bots was founded in 2024 by a group of passionate people and educators who saw the need for engaging, hands-on STEM education for young students.
What started as a small weekend program has grown into a comprehensive robotics academy envisioning to serve hundreds of students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Throughout our journey, we've remained committed to our core belief that every student deserves the opportunity to explore robotics and discover their potential as engineers, programmers, and innovators.

Founder & Engineer
With 20+ years of engineering experience in IT systems and 4 years of experience with VEX IQ, Govinda is passionate about STEM and teaching. He founded Gear Bots to share his love for robotics and engineering with the next generation.
